Imbali Safari Lodge consists of 12 immaculate suites, each
beautifully appointed with only the finest furniture and
imported linen. King-size beds, flickering hurricane lamps,
and romantic antique-styled en-suite baths ensure you never
forget your first taste of the African Safari experience,
while spacious decks with private sala and jacuzzi offer
views over the river bed and onto the plains beyond.
All rooms are airconditioned and have mosquito nets, and

Dining
The restaurant at Imbali Safari Lodge offers cosy
indoor dining in luxurious surroundings, as well as
spectacular outdoor dining on the deck, where magnificent
cuisine freshly prepared to your satisfaction by personal
butlers, offers a menu as extensive as the African
wilderness. Private dining on your own deck is a romantic
alternative, and bush picnics can also be arranged.
Safari
Game viewing at Imbali Safari Lodge is truly spectacular and
the lodge is home to creatures great and small. Africa's Big
5 - lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo - roam the
reserve as well as a diverse variety of entelope, birds and
insects. Open game drives, guided bush walks, and bird
watching are all offered at the lodge, as well as a
self-drive option through the Kruger National Park.

What to take
Imbali is in a malaria area and malaria tablets are
recommended all year round (Please consult your doctor).
Comfortable light clothing, walking shoes, sun hats,
sunglasses, sun-block, insect repellent and bathing suits.
During wintertime it is still warm during the day but it can
become very cold on the game drives and at night. It is
advisable to bring warm insulated jackets.
Spa
South Africa’s top spa group, Mangwanani Spa, has
joined the Imbali Safari Lodges to offer guests the
additional luxury of Nomadic Spa Treat-ments through a
community develop-ment programme. Guests can enjoy a number
of treatments ranging from foot massages to facials or the
whole Royal Treat-ment all with a local Shangaan theme. The
Nomadic treatments can be done in the privacy of the guests
rooms, on their decks or next to the pool. |
